LB&SCR Inspector

THIS IS AN ADVANCED KIT

A kit for the LB&SCR loco “Inspector” which as the name suggests was used by the CME to inspect the line. Originally built as a 2-4-0T by Sharp Stewart in 1869, following 2 rebuilds it emerged as a 2-4-2T with a carriage section on the back in 1889 and was used to inspect the line until 1912.

This kit includes a custom 3D printed chassis and requires 16mm driving wheels, 12mm leading and trailing wheels, connecting rods, a motor and gearbox of choice, and detailing parts to complete. This is not a kit for beginners!
