Hi Guys
The kit is great but not idiot proof.
Could you do a quick guide.
1. Clean the moulds to remove the grease/oil (?) with (?)
2. Fill the print lines with (?)
3. Glaze with (?)
4. Fit the bearings… wheels
5. Anything else…-
Hi,
Thanks for your comment, you’ll be glad to hear this is something we are working on, with both written instructions and video guides. In the meantime
It is always a good idea to clean kits with warm soapy water, kits should arrive clean, as they have been washed in Isopropyl alcohol before being sent out, but this may not fully remove everything.
Any print lines can be removed with filler primer (available from Halfords) and sanding. and painting will also help with this.
Glazing can be made out of many things, be it acetate, or plastic packaging, a good glue to use for glazing is Deluxe Materials Glue ‘n’ Glaze
Bearings should be a push fit to our kits that need them, they can be secured with super glue, re recommend using waisted pinpoint bearings if you are using bearings. and once in wheels should be a push fit between them.
If you need any advice about specific kits, let me know and I’ll get a specific guide for that for you.
I usually see emails quicker than I do comments on the website, so drop me an email on the Contact Us page for the quickest response.
Kind Regards,
Gary
