Description
This is a free-rolling 00 scale model of the early locomotives Agenoria (preserved in the National Railway Museum) and sister, Stourbridge Lion (the first steam locomotive to operate in the United States). Combined with a motorised truck (separately available), this will enable a fully working Era I train. The tenders are different to suit each prototype; for Agenoria it is freelance but in the style of the period.
As the prototypes were wildly larger than the subsequent loading gauge (!), alternate funnels are provided enabling scale or reduced-height options. Beams, coupling and connecting rods are also provided either for direct use (see video) or as templates for making metal replacements from stout wire.
