This unusual double-ended engine is an LNER Y10 Class originally intended for the iconic Wisbech & Upwell Tramway.ย Built by Sentinel in 1930 they were, however, underpowered for the freight traffic on the Tramway and were relocated after only one year, subsequently working at Ipswich, Yarmouth, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.ย Both survived into BR ownership but were withdrawn by 1952.ย
