Description
This commissioned item is an N Gauge model of the LNER Gresley K4 Class, designed to fit a Farish N Class chassis. While intended to be as close a fit as possible some small fettling may be required. Several versions are available:
Original LNER smokebox door
Later BR smokebox door
K4 No. 61995 with unique 1950s V3 angled steam pipe (fitted due to a lack of spares at Cowlairs Works).
The 4200 gallon tender is available either as a full kit with chassis or a shortened body-only version designed to fit the donor tender chassis.
Necessary to Complete:
Graham Farish N Class locomotive (plus tender chassis – for body-only version)
X3 Farish A4 tender wheels (for full tender kit only)
