This is an N Gauge model of the iconic GNR Stirling Single, now preserved in the National Railway Museum. There are three alternate tenders representing two different periods in its career and give the option of scale size (with motor coach) or full motorisation:
Ivatt tender V1 (unpowered – for use with the motorised generic 4-wheel coach)
Ivatt tender V2 (motorised – for a powered locomotive)
Sturrock tender (also unpowered, to represent the engine in early preservation)

Alan Gibson P4 (finescale) scale 14.6mm Caly Pug driving wheels (Ref 4844E)

Styrene strip (0.5mm x 1mm) – for additional wheel spokes
Nickel steel strip (0.5mm x 1mm) – for slide bars (15mm length; advice on fitting can be found in the video below)
Pin (for bogie mount)
Wire (for various details including tender coupling)
Weight (the boiler is hollow)
(NB small strips of brass will hold the wheels in place)
